I want to compile a list of 10 ways to make money at home. These will be fairly simple ways to make some money by working at home, and I will do my best to give a bit of information on each. If anyone would like to chime in with their ideas, that would be great! I will try to add one money making idea here every day, if possible. Perhaps it will inspire a few of you, and maybe even me.


eBay
One of the easiest ways to earn a little extra cash is with eBay. This is such a simple home based business to get into, that anyone can do it. The startup investments are really minimal, the knowledge required can be learned in a few days, and their are no barriers to entering the business. Here are the steps to start with eBay:

1- Head to eBay and set up an account. You want to join as a merchant.

2- Make a few small purchases to get familiar with the whole process. Pay attention to what is moving well, how they are marketing it, and who the big sellers are.

3- Find some items at your home that you don't want. Sell them for as much as you can on eBay, but do whatever it takes to sell it. You just need a little experience right now.

4- After you have sold several things from your home, head to some discount stores in your area. Find something that is on an extreme clearance that you think will sell on eBay. Buy as many as you can, with the ability to return them if they don't sell, an move them on eBay. Price everything to double your money, if possible.

5- Continue this process until you are really comfortable with selling on eBay. Now ramp up your efforts by trying to buy entire clearance shelves from stores, looking for wholesalers, and finding drop shippers.

They key for many of us with eBay is to try to double your money on everything. The big movers can exist on a 10% markup, but we want to be the little guy that doubles everything.
