Smile New T-Mobile Sidekick 2008

If you need ringtones for the new Sidekick 3/ Sidekick 2008, click here!

T-Mobile has announced their new Sidekick 2008 with style. The new T-Mobile Sidekick 2008 is still a good old smartphone, but a lot of improvements have been made for this latest version of the cell phone.

1- The new smartphone manufactured by Sharp is smaller than previous models. We all know that the Sidekick is big and bulky, and the new one still is, but not quite as much so.

2- The outer shell is now interchangeable. You can make you Sidekick 2008 into one of thousands of combinations. The cell phone comes with 2 shells that you can exchange, you can buy more Sidekick cases, or you can make your own design on the T-Mobile website. Pretty cool!

3- The 2008 Sidekick camera is now 2 megapixels instead of 1.3 megapixels. The camera on the new T-Mobile cellphone even records very nice quality video now, and it is capable of holding a large amount of ringtones and mobile games.

I am very pleased with this Sidekick 2008. If you are into cellphones with a ton of gadgets, this is a pretty cool phone to consider.

Cool Sidekick 2008

I am a T-Mobile customer and have going back and forth between the Sidekick and the Dash. I'm leaning toward the Sidekick but I've read a lot of things about how this will only appeal to the young crowd (which I am not). Is there any reason to think someone in my advanced :-) years would not like this device? My main interests are e-mail and texting.

I'm in my early 40's Connie. I can tell you that the Sidekick is great. The new Sidekick has a lot of features that brings the phone up to par with the iPhone, in my opinion. I would definitiely choose the Dash ove the Sidekick, if I were you.

i havent used the new sidekick 2008. i have, however, owned the old sidekick 3 and used my cousin's sidekick LX. i have to say that the sidekick LX is basically the same thing as every other sidekick that was made. Connie, if you are looking for a good smartphone, then the sidekick is not for you. it has no wifi so you will have to end up buying tmobile's internet data plan which costs 20 dollars per month. With the dash, you can choose to buy the data plan at 20 or if you are near wifi, you can simply use that. i own the dash and have to say that it has been one of my favorite phones that i have ever owned and is more geared to the professional age group. it has qwerty keyboard and the interface is great. it is one of HTC's older phones but if you are leaning toward something like the sidekick, i would suggest the tmobile wing. it is like the dash with a pull out keyboard and i believe it has touch (dont quote me on this). all in all, i love the dash and have no desire to change phones in the near future (unless htc lowers their price on the diamond, that is a beautiful phone with touch interface). hope this helps u, connie.

Default sidekick 08

Frankly, i have had the Dash, slide and the sidekick id. and now i have the 08. To me, the 08 is a very sophisticated fone. ive dropped it about 1000 times and it stand at perfect condition. The Dash on the other hand, well i dropped it off my bed once and the screen is busted. i have to pay 185$ just to get the screen replaced which tmobile will not do under any circimstances. Txtn is great on the 08. the qwerty keyboard on the dash isnt so up-standard.
