What is the current divorce rate? I know that when I was a kid hardly anyone got a divorce. Times have changed. I don't hardly know anyone that hasn't been divorced. It seems like almost every marriage ends in divorce these days. But how many marriages last forever, and how many end in divorce now? Here's what I found:

I was a little surprised by the numbers I found. I assumed that the United States would have the highest divorce rate in the world, but it's actually Sweden with 54.9% of all marriages ending in disolution. That is followed by Belarus at 52.9%, Finland at 51.2%, and the U.S. is way down there at 45.8%.

Just think about that number though. 45.8% of marriages in the United States ends in divorce. Isn't that just nuts?
